Time Flies!

I have just returned from a great vacation in Florida! My only complaint was that I did not have Internet access and did not set myself up to do mobile blogging!

I do have to say that it was wonderful to miss the ice storm last week! We were happily basking in the beautiful sunny days of high 70's to 80's! I absorbed as much sunshine as I could! Now I am back in the cold, gray, icy north.

As I was running an early morning errand today, still half exhausted from my trip... all I could think was that I am grateful for last week and happy for now...even in this climate. It occurred to me that if one can be happy here then one can be happy anywhere! It was so easy to be happy in the beautiful weather with the warm, sweet sunshine! Here there is no sunshine, only clouds, snow, sleet, and biting cold. Yet I am happy....happy just to be, actually.... it certainly is not happiness because of the weather!

Aliens Abducted my Firefox??!!?!

I know this sounds crazy but a couple of weeks ago, my Mozilla Firefox stopped working on my desktop computer. I don't know why... I don't know what I did to make it go wacko...it just did. Basically it stopped working. My laptop was fine... no problem there, thankfully! I reverted back to Explorer, reluctantly, and limped along on my desktop. I stayed on the laptop most of the time, leaving the desktop to my son, home on break. Then today my home page changed and I asked my son why he changed it. He insisted he didn't touch it. Some site I never heard of was coming up as my home page...like using the explorer wasn't disorienting enough! So I thought I'd down load Firefox and try to fix it since now explorer was whacked out as well! It downloaded like lightening and pulled up my old home page and book marks instantly! I don't know how it did that... I just know that I'm grateful that it did! Finally, I can surf the net on the desktop and get to my bookmarks with out hassle!

Things I Want to Do (Have, Be) This Year

I want 2007 to be the year that I really connect to the Source and put the Law of Attraction to work in my life in a conscious way and to reap the rewards from doing so.
First of all... I want to blow away my goals in my position as an independent contractor. Second, I'm available for speaking engagements and putting together a book as well. Third I want to utilize my Reiki Master status and capabilities to create new Reiki Masters and promote healing of all who I come in contact with and with the earth as well. 2007 is the year I will maintain an attitude of gratitude. I will be an ambassador to goodwill, good vibrations, and healing to all. I will spread the word about how we can utilize the law of attraction to our benefit. I will expand my imagination, my awareness, and my power of intention.
Fun things I want to do...
I want to go to or have a spoon bending party! I read of Michael Crichton's account in his book Travels. I've read other accounts as well... apparently it is no big deal (once you've done it...) but I want to experience it! I would love to host such an event... has anyone had any experience with this? What was it like?
I want to travel...(speaking of Michael Crichton's book... Travels)... both physically and spiritually. For example: I want to go see NYC, since my son is living there - more about that later... I would like to go to a workshop for learning to see aura's.
I want to learn to knit good - my first project will be making Jeff a scarf...
ah yes.... and then of course there are the home projects... 2007 will be a time of renewal for our home... there are somethings we just can't put off any longer... a new bathroom tub... new sinks... and I would love new counters! Then there was that front loading washer and dryer we saw at Home Depot... =)
